We always made it clear that this was the case. Unless SQC has sold
the rights to II Alive, SQC owns the rights to the published material.
Published programs would be different. Unless there was a specific
arrangement to purchase exclusive rights, we did not claim to purchase
sole ownership of software rights. For example, II Alive could have
issued a diskette containing programs/routines which were listed in the
magazine; but, the magazine could not prevent the creator of a program
from also selling the program on diskette.
