Let's put it this way: if you copied any of _my_ work without asking me
first, I certainly would complain about it, and I don't need anyone's
permission to do so. (Assuming, of course, it was work I personally owned
the copyright on. Actually, there's precious little of that, as all my QC
stuff was work for hire.)
However, were you to ask, I would likely be flattered anyone still found
it useful and give permission.
