   This is a lie. Any Mac from the Plus upwards can use a control panel
called "PC Exchange" which will read Apple II (800k) disks without
reformatting it. All Macs (From Plus upwards, except those without disk
drives) can read 800k disks. I think some PPCs may have problems with 400k
disks, but 800k's work fine.
