Another advantage of Deja ][ is that you get to hear Randy Brandt say
"AppleWorks Forever" every time you start it up. ;)

More seriously, a nice feature of Deja ][ is its ability to save memory
snapshots. So what you do is, start up AppleWorks with all your TimeOuts,
then save a snapshot. Then next time you start the machine with the
snapshot. Faster (and more seamless) than starting the whole thing up
again. Of course you could take a snapshot with a desktop full of files,
too.

Oh yes: instead of having to deal with ProDOS disk images like you do with
Bernie, Deja ][ has a "ProDOS emulator" that maps all ProDOS file system
calls to Mac OS calls, so all your files are stored on regular Mac disks.
(They can also be stored on ProDOS 3.5" disks if you have PC Exchange
installed on your Mac.) Very nice piece of work IMHO.

Another good Apple II emulator is called, simply, IIe; it's a generic
Apple IIe emulator but it runs AppleWorks fine.
