AE Pro is a sentimental favorite of mine, but it's not really a practical
choice for use. Keep it shrinkwrapped.

If you need an 8bit terminal, use ProTerm or ModemMgr. There are others I could
recommend, but those are the top of the heap being free, practical, supported
and "modern" by contemporary standards.
