As noted in the official csa2 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ-- not
the pirated knockoffs by liars and thieves) at
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html section 2.4 on the //c
and //c+, the escape key at [re]boot drops the speed until the next
[re]boot.
