Workstation II Card, Getting it Working..

I've got a Workstation II card in my IIe, along with assorted software
which all seems to rely on appletalk being installed. The card is 
setup in slot 7, and on bootup, will try to boot over the network. 

Eventually, it times out with no boot server found, and tries the
next slot in line. 

I can't seem to locate what needs to be done, or run to get appletalk
'installed'. pr#7 after the fact will just hang the machine. 

Anyone care to hold my hand through this? I've checked the apple sites, 
the faqs, etc..and none of them contain anything close to instructions
on how to get this all going.
