     Owen Aaland's comment about needing a SCSI card ROM upgrade could
be your answer. (I know zilch about your SCSI interface card and can not
say one way or the other.)

     One 'dumb thing' you can check is that your SYSTEM/ folder, etc. is
in your first partition. Also, it may help to set the SCSI I.D. number
to 6.

     You mentioned something about "installing drivers". Are you talking
about the standard Sys6 SCSI drivers or something else? (A driver
conflict can cause problems.)

     One really dumb thing: SCSI card Slot is set to "Your Card".
