Re: Mgr, v1.5 has been removed from site

I am curious as to why a "FREEWARE" program cannot be distributed. Could someone
please post the reasons here?

Was the program non-freeware? It sounds like this is a previous version of the now
updated Manager program.

Wouldn't this program lack features/have bugs that the Current version has now?
Would it hurt to let people check out a previous version, tell them there is a
better version available for some money?

But then again, the MANAGER.DEMO I found on a FTP site takes care of "try before
you buy".

Anyone who wants to check out the manager should check out the following URL:

ftp://ground.isca.uiowa.edu/apple2/apple16/demos/manager/

It is a Demo which supposedly shuts down after 10 mintes of use (I took a look at
the program. I didn't use it for 10 minutes)

According to what I saw in this demo, it is an AWESOME PROGRAM! You can have
several programs being shown on the screen at once. I am a PC user, so to me it's
kind of like Windows95. You click on the window of the program you want to use,
and it becomes active.

I own Switch-It!, and the Manager beats the pants off it!

I saw Richard said "We have the source code for the English version". Will the
Manager be updated? I have a few Ideas on how to make it a bit better.
