Unfortunately, no. We've always had a theft problem at KUCI; this was
one of the more extreme cases. Believe me, if we ever found out who the
miscreant was there'd be several kinds of hell for him/her to pay.

Actually, I'm pretty confident that even the most dull-minded computer
thief will think twice before stealing our //c. Sure, it's small and has
a convenient carry handle, but one of the first things you'll notice
when you walk into the music director's office is that the //c has a
built-in FIVE-AND-A-QUARTER floppy disk drive. That's enough to let any
person know that this piece of hardware isn't exactly state-of-the-art
material (though I will gladly concede that it used to be).

And if some chucklehead does go ahead and swipe the thing -- well, our
fellow Apple hacker Jake Anderson (music director) knows where to get
more at dirt-cheap prices. ;-)
