The only program I have ever seen use the Double-Lo-Res mode
(80x48x16) is some demo from France. I don't recall who wrote it
or what it was called, but the archives it came on were packed
with the name "LG12x.shk" (x = 1 through 3). Come to think of
it, it may have been a shareware program that had some music and
animation demos included.
I came across it on one of the Apple II FTP sites out there,
only I don't remember which (the archives have been sitting on
my hardrive for months now, though according to the date stamp,
I downloaded them in early 1997).
