The reason you get that error is because you call it the wrong name.
(Try that to a dog and see how it looks at you.  Computers are just as
faithful as dogs but don't pee on your kitchen floor on the day you
trudge in for milk with your eyes closed.)  It's not an eleven-GS, it's
a IIgs or //gs (depending upon if you got the enhancement kit).  I
would not work for you either if you misaddressed me -- though your
computer takes it more seriously than I do and calls 911.

Glad to hear your machine is getting a new, more loving home...
