     It was kind of you to not say who "they" are. Bouncing RF radiation
may well be the most 'creative' explanation yet concocted for a
glitching Transwarp.

     The top shielding definitely screws up ventilation and can be a
shorting hazard for Slot cards.

     The back shielding makes it difficult to pass connectors through
slots in the back of the case and is another shorting hazard. The bottom
shielding becomes a very serious shorting hazard should you ever need to
remove and reinstall your motherboard. Unless removing the shielding
produces intolerable TV/Radio interference, it should all be yanked.
