Announcing OSRL
Announcing OSRL
For those of you who can be considered veterans and seasoned
Apple II users for over 7 years then you might be able to well
remember the four letters OSRL and what they stood for before.
For those that don't remember I invite you to use your creative
imaginations to derive your own definition of what OSRL stands
for.
I've made it fairly clear to most seasoned veterans, A2 reality
keepers and Apple II users that I'm friends with - I'll be leaving
all active personal efforts for the Apple II users before Christmas
of this year. To put it in clear terms for alI, I will be gone from
the Apple II community 'FOREVER' as of 12/12/98.
Yes, Nathan, Joe, Richard and Company - now you all have something
to really look forward to, prepare for your celebration party as all of
you rejoice at KansasFest 98 and sleep peacefully at night
(especially you Bozo) knowing the good Doctor has yelled WOLF
for the LAST time with this post. You can all soon captivate,
rule, dominate and control the Apple II community at will, with
no concern for my insane interventions and destructive activities
- as you like to label all that I've done and hope to do before 12/12/98.
I've also made it clear to many of my personal Apple II friends and
all readers of this newsgroup what I hope to see done for the needs
of all Apple II users everywhere now and for years to come. I no longer
seem to shake and move enough any more to personally impliment such
stuff. But, I can keep making proposals for projects, search out,
ask for, get and give whatever I have to give freely, to help bring
much of value - for use by all to the surface.
Thus, I'm announcing the official URL for OSRL - for all to check
each day for any new official thoughts, announcements, concepts and
any other goodies for the Apple II users - with daily updates from
OSRL.

After I exit forever on 12/12/98 - anybody that's expressed a sincere
desire to take over OSRL can continue with it for it's intended purpose
- which is simply: to give all that can be found to be given freely to
all others in the Apple II community for their needs and use. I already
think I have a good person with the time, desire and devotion to take
it over when I leave in Dec. Time will tell :)
Don't expect to find to much in that folder for the next week - as I'm
taking off tomorrow for a much needed one week spring vacation, before
spring is officially over. But, if the forces are with me, I'll be back
to pack it full of daily goodies on 6/21 and to catch up on what this
newgroup has been up to. So long till then. Be good!
Cheers,
Tom
