My understanding on the GS ROMS is that Apple will not let them go because they
will soon be releasing "GUS" as a board for th enew G3's. I have heard this
from a few different sources but I haven't been able to confirm it anywhere.
The rumor is that there are still quite a few schools using Apple II's and
GS's. Apple wants to move them all over to the new Mac line and will introduce
the board at very low cost - possibly $100. This would allow the schools to
move up to the Mac and get rid of their older Apples. Time will tell!
