    Not to defend, nor complain - but merely to wonder:
    No matter what the rationale for wanting to contact the
    original publisher/author; since it's the right way to go,
    why not concentrate on that aspect, instead?

    I, too, would be interested in an `online' TXT version of
    the:  "Compleat Computist"  (as it were); a valuable and
    historical resource. I have an original GEOWORKS, that I'd
    love to run from my HD, but it insists upon the disks and
    crashes when trying to run it from the HD (even though one
    of the icons it has is of a HD - so it's not like it doesn't
    `know' what a HD is!) and who knows? Mayhaps there's a
    `fix' in one of the Computists? I don't know. Nor will I
    ever know, without access to the complete library.
