   ProSEL-16 is probably the best and safest defrag program; the 8-bit
version is probably slightly too old. There is no such thing as a
"GS/OS ProDOS partition"-- ProDOS remained relatively the same since
the 80s. [They did throw in some 'Resource Fork' hacks that broke
ProDOS 8, but as long as your ProSEL-16 is System 5.x or 6.x
compliant, there should be no problems.]

   If you meant to write 'System 6.x HFS Partition', there is no GS
program for disk repair, optimization, or the like. Your only bet is
to try and feed that HD to a Macintosh, but due to the idiotic
*continued* insistence on "required" Mac driver parititons of MacOS,
you might either need to reformat (near-perfect disk optimization, btw
:) or pay $$$ for a third party set of Mac HD utils that do the job
right.  Apple should have backed down and made such driver partitions
*OPTIONAL* any time in the past decade or so, but that'd mean the
rather Dilbertian management would have to listen to users or
something.
