These things are actually quite handy.  I have some software, and I THINK
documentation, on how to set it up.  You will need a Mac to set up the
FastPath for anything more than simple networking.  Mine is set up to
transmit both appletalk and IP between localtalk and coax.  I can dig
around for the info, but as I am in the middle of moving it might take a
bit.
