Sider HD

Hi again. I have a Sider model 9710-H. I have a Xebec card (rev.H). I have
them connected with a db37-db37 ribbon cable. I have what appears to be the
right software (6 disks). There is a jumper on the last set of pins on a
block on the back.

When I run the install software, and get to the point of installing the DOS
3.3 partition, I get an error message "sense bytes not found" and something
about a RAM error. If I move the jumper to any other location or remove it,
the drive isn't seen.

I don't have the manual. Can anybody help? Is this fixable or is the drive
simply broken?

Thanks, Louis

(Note to Steve Mentzer: I can be just as condescending on other days of the
week. But really, if you have nothing to add or ask, why post?)
