Yes. Eamon is a 'gaming world' and game-authoring system. The games
are almost exclusively text adventures roughly similar to the Infocom
series. The main differences are that Eamon games pretty much stick to a
simple two-word parser, you have a character who can be killed, and the
adventures tend to involve more badguy/monster-fighting.
Lots of users have created Eamon adventures. At present the games
number well past 200-- i.e. Eamon Lives! The adventures are checked out
and registered by the Eamon Adventurers' Guild run by Tom Zuchowski:
