It looks like you are running the DOS version of XGS. Unfortunately, your video 
card does not support VBE 2.0 (vesa bios extensions) in the firmware. You 
propably have an older ATI board. 

You have 2 choices.

	1 - Get SciTech Display Doctor
	2 - Find the appropriate VBE extensions for your video board.

I personally recommend #1
