A number. For many, Linux is an OS of choice for engineering/CAD/science
applications due to software availability.

For a commercial CAD try for example http://www.moonglow.com/icaads.html

If you mean especially AutoCAD, check LinuxCAD at
http://www.softwareforge.com/linux.html

There are good free programs too.

: Or even CorelDraw?

CorelDraw is available for Linux.

I'm not sure about Illustrator, but there is at least one free software
project working on a look-alike software.

: And where can one find this software? Certainly
: not at CompUSA or MicroCenter or Frys.

I'm just wondering why most windows users ask only for ported windows
bloatware on Linux. This OS works better for me without it. Actually I
can do everything I can do on Windows also on Linux, but not vice-versa.
