They are not Apple II things and are therefore, off topic.  The
occaisional Apple /// and Lisa thread is tolerated because they are so
few and far between and do not have any newsgroups associated with
them.

He may not speak for everyone but I'd bet that he speaks for a good
majority of them.  I know I for one agree with him that Mac questions
should be posted in the Mac newsgroups and seeing as there are so many
of them (I stopped counting after 65; there are about 40 in the
comp.sys.mac.* architecture alone), I don't see why we need them here.

I can see allowing Mac threads when the deal with the Apple II as
well.  Emulation card, transfering data via null-modem or floppy,
networking and file/printer sharing, et al.
