A test resulted in a download which, when unZipped with WinZIP,
gave a 143360 length file with the .DO extension. It runs fine under
AppleWin. (This is nice to know. I was not sure that WinZIP would accept
.DO as a valid DSK name ender.)
It looks like you are getting a corrupted download. A frequent
cause is accessing an ftp site via an http:// address reference instead
of an ftp:// reference. The following URL is correct:
ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/
If you are under a PC browser like Netscape, use a mouse
SHIFT-Click to select the file to download. Choose the destination in
the Save window and do the download. (Just a Click will be likely to
dump the file to your display.) You can, also, use a right-Click to
select an item-- this produces a menu from which you can Click "Save
Link As ..." to get to the Save window.
