By the same reasoning, this forum would be an appropriate place to discuss
cross-pollinating various species of apples, I suppose. Or perhaps a good
place to discuss the merits of apple-shaped women. Or a good place to share
apple recipes.

Sheesh. How many Mac newsgroups are there? Ten? More? And yet I have to
wade through endless Mac garbage in this newsgroup as well.

For myself, I would like to see all of the Mac posts, pirating rants, and
Microsoft-bashing posts go away. I just can't take this group seriously
when it has such a poor focus. Yes, the iMac is fascinating but it doesn't
belong HERE. The pirating issue is important but doesn't belong HERE except
in the case of currently-sold titles. The DOJ bashing of Microsoft is going
to devastate the PC industry, which may be cheery news for Mac lovers but
DOESN'T BELONG HERE.
