In the Winter, 1995 issue of Shareware Solutions II (Volume 2, Issue
2), there was a front page article entitled "A Visit With Steve
Wozniak" that described the several hours I spent at Woz's office in
Los Gatos, California in January, 1995.
 
Although I did have every intention in the world of conducting a
traditional style interview with the inventor of the Apple II computer,
that meeting was not, by any stretch of the imagination, traditional.
 
As hard as I tried to be an objective reporter, I was not immune to
Woz's personal charms, and I was completely swept away by being in the
presence of a man who changed the world. I'd never met a "celebrity"
before, nor anyone who'd had such a profound effect on my life, and I'd
certainly never talked to a personal hero before.
 
I was so completely star struck by Woz that I was simply unable to ask
_any_ traditional interview type questions. And, when you think about
it, most traditional interviews of engineers do not start off with the
interviewer being tongue tied and blurting out comments about how the
the subject of the interview has been more influential than even Bob
Dylan ;-)

When you received your first issue of Shareware Solutions II, you
should have also received an offer to purchase all the back issues at a
discounted rate. If you've misplaced that offer, I can resend it to you

Speaking of Shareware Solutions II, I stopped by my printers last night
to give him the "7 day warning." Volume 4, Issue 1 will be going into
the mail shortly thereafter.
