Not a solution to your problem, but when I outgrew my 20Mb Vulcan, I
bought an Apple HS-SCSI card and a 250Mb SCSI drive.  The SCSI drive
mounted into the Vulcan case, I built a cable to go from the DB-25 on the
card to the 50-pin connector on the drive, and as a bonus I mounted a
DB-25 connector on the backplane so that if I ever get my ZIP drive I'll
have a place to plug it in...
