I still wish someone would write a "minimizer" Control Panel or
INIT that would give the same functionality as Windows 95 for GS/OS.
That is, reserve the bottom few lines of the screen as a task-bar,
and when you click on a window button, it would disappear off the
screen and get added to a listing in the bar below (clicking on it
would make the window appear once again). You could add left/right
scroll bars to scroll through the listing of minimized windows.
With the limited desktop space 640x200 gives you, such a program
would be a must-have.
Another thing I'd like to see is an INIT that keeps the mouse
button down _after_ you click it once on a menu option (there is
a similar INIT already available, but it acts like the button is
continiously held down--plus it doesn't like hierarchical menus).
Pop-up contextual menus would be neat too. The first two ideas
shouldn't be that difficult to program, especially the "sticky"
mouse button. Some people might not like them, but we're talking
about optional add-ons here...so no one should object. :)
