Back when, I bought the EdASM Workbench but I don't recall it supporting
macros. When did EdASM offer this support?

I first encountered it with Apple's ProDOS Assembler Tools, Workbench,
part #A2W0013, 1983. The MACLIB directive specifies the path to a
directory containing named macro files:

Here's an example:

AFAIR it's not mentioned in any of the doc's which came with the Workbench I purchased. EdASM was often considered inferior because of it's lack of macros. Of course, lack of information means lack of usage. Thanks for the info. I would love to hear more about this capability.
