There is every wish that users who might be interested in SS-II's
new and old wares, Scantron's A2 products, the goodies from Seven Hills,
etc. know that they are available, for how much, and where to get them.
It is up to the vendors to tell us what they have. You do not sell
stuff by waiting to be 'discovered'.

Yes; this observation has been made before. For example, believe it
or not, a few users say THE place to get Apple II information is some
on-line service or other. Perhaps this is true, ... so long as you do
not care about bug reports, game fixes, etc..

GEnie was helpful to a lot of Apple II users. For a time, so was
AOL. Perhaps, Delphi could also prove to be a benefit.

That is sad to hear.

Delphi and/or Genie seem to be hotbeds of activity. Evidently, only
a dither-head would even bother to read user messages on Csa2, let alone
post anything.

More likely than not, you are correct.

Not a bit of it, Old Chap! Please continue.

Quite so-- all those users running around and discussing and doing
projects and stuff like that.

Every celebrity appearance is like a ray of sunshine. It is
thoughtful of the celebrities to tell their potential customers about
their products.

The Apple II world would not suffer.
It would be gone.
