But as several posters have pointed out, the trick is to determine whether
something is piracy or not. Copyright and piracy are not iron-clad...
a company can maintain copyright on a software piece and still allow free
distribution of it.

Ultima 4 for example is copyright by Origin, but they decided to make it
freely available... anyone can copy it. It's therefore not piracy, but
still protected by copyright.

Most of the stuff on asimov, as far as I can see, aren't "piracy", although
there are the exceptions of course. [Nathan has been whining about
Appleworks for a while, so having that on Asimov may be piracy].
