I have two IOMEGA Bernoulli boxes, one about 5 years old and the other
about 2 years old (one for the Apple 2GS and one for the PC), and so
far I've had no problems whatsoever. I've also had a Jaz drive on the
PC for about 2 years and haven't experienced any problems. I know
IOMEGA has had problems with some of their units (flopticals and
Zips), but I guess I've been lucky. My only real complaint is the
artificially and exceptionally high prices they maintain for their
media. That Syquest 1-gigger is looking mighty good lately.
