Well, someone using a Cirtech card would have to answer
this question....but I do have a suggestion: ditch the Super
Serial Card.
The Apple IIGS has superior serial ports built in. Get rid
of that Super Serial Card and run a new cable (Macintosh
type cables) from the printer port to your printer or from
the modem port to your modem (setting control panel
settings from 'Your Card' to 'Printer' and 'Modem' for Slot
1 and Slot 2 respectively).
Try using a 14.4 or faster modem on a GS with a Super
Serial Card and Proterm and watch intermittent garbage
devastate the text and transfers.
