It was a good strategy of Apple to dump the Apple II users, keep selling
Apple II's with BIG provit to pay for the loss that every Mac was sold
with (in the beginning).
Yeah, that's good marketing. Long live Apple. You know what happened to
some of us Dutchmen? We downloaded OS8.1 Dutch version, but it turned
out to be corrupt somehow. So we downloaded another version (binhexed),
and it was corrupt. Cool, 32 Mb downloading for nothing. So we called
Apple which told us that they don't care, and if we were interested in
OS 8.1, the CD was available for.... well never mind. Just paid US$100
for OS8 and now this.
Yeah, cool, way to go Apple.
I buy a Mac because I want it, but I'm not buying a Mac to support
Apple's market.
Apple CPU's rule (IIgs forever), but Apple, Inc. sucks in supporting
their customers.
