Just use the Media Control NDA with the right media control drivers
to play audio CDs.
Those who claim you MUST use headphones to listen to CDs on
the GS are wrong. When I got my CD player and the DiscQuest
system, the techs at Sequential Systems referred me to Radio
Shack to get an audio mixer box. This unit runs for around $20.
It takes the audio from the GS and the audio from the CD player
and mixes them together for output to the speakers. It works like
a charm.
The Radio Shack box does externally what PC sound cards do
internally....
