Weirder and weirder. If I had seen the new Mac Zip control panel
before buying my Zip, the Zip would never have been bought. "Format
Life"? 20MB for a "pool of _spare_ sectors"? What a pile of
garbage!

My first Zip was so screwed up it's hard to know whether it ever
"clicked". The replacement-- an external drive which sits a couple feet
from monitors and power supplies-- has worked fine for 18 months. It
would be a major chap if it started clicking.

Iomega had best get its act together.
