Just as a quick note, a friend of mine was trying to install a Zip Drive on his
GS. The Zip was used on 3 of his Macs with no problems. When we tried to use it
on his GS, 90% of the time the GS would not recognize it. It was being used
with the latest Transwarp GS card. After many hours of frustration, we tried
another Zip drive and the problem of the vanishing Zip drive VANISHED! The
first drive is still working flawlessly on my friend's Macs. The point that I'm
getting at is that some Zip drives can be flaky!
