Also, don't forget that PowerPC's (the PowerMac series) have flaky disk
drives. I once formatted seven disks on a PowerPC only to find out that
they would not work on my IIgs.
Might be worth it to at least try and read it when formatted on a regular
68k Mac.
Though, I totally believe that Nathan is correct.
