Funny thing happened to me the other day on that note...
Was visiting United Media's Dilbert site on a friend's win95-486 and
there's this demo for a game. When you click the info icon, Scott
Adams' voice says "Elbonian Airlines, it's the only way to fly." I
wanted that *real* bad, but could not get Netscape 4.04 to capture the
sound. Bugged me. So I wrote down the location of that page
(www.dreamworksgames.com/games/dilbert/.....) and went to it on my //GS
with Lynx -- and the only thing the page would let me do is download
the sound. :) :) ====
You are right about the text-browser-unfriendly places, those suck. I
was trying to get ticket info last year from a local theatre's website
and it was a one of those "Go bugger yourself" messages as the opening
screen. Ahh, but viewing the HTML itself (the "\" command) I could see
what the links were so I used the Go To command to get into them and so
despite the crappy reception at the front door I did manage to get past
the sentry to the vault. :)
