Okay,
So I've solved my 3.5 inch drive problem which was only reading disks when
they were write protected and not noticing them at all when they were
unprotected.
Looks like the 3.5 drive controller on the Rom 03 board went kaput....
So I dug out of the basement another Rom 03 board 100% tested and working
and swapped boards...
The reason I had to do this is the IIgs I use is in a towercase and all the
bells and whistles are built into it.
-Insite floptical to read high density disks
-scsi cdrom
-120meg scsi hard drive
-grappler plus
-transwarpgs 12.5mhz
-ramfast rev. d 1meg
-sequential 8meg memory card
Now comes my next dilemna. I put everything back nicely... However, my
TranswarpGS cable is now busted and need to find a source for a NEW one!
Anyone know where I can get one?
