SDK indicates that you'd better have a floppy handy to unpack the archive
into. I rather like this, because sometimes I would skip SDK's when I
didn't have time to mess with floppies. Later I made a few floppy-sized HD
partitions so it wouldn't matter.

Hmm. Are any of the emulators available as source for linux/*bsd & X11 ??
If so then I think I'd be interested in tuning them and adding features for
debugging (like having them emulate all 16 megs of RAM, and majorly padding
allocated blocks with memory protection on the dead zones). I have a nasty
memory trasher in LHG, which is keeping me from considering doing the SS port
I have always wanted to do...
