I agree with LJSILICON that ProTerm is the way to go for the Apple
IIGS (see www.intrec.com).

Use Zmodem with CRC check to transfer files.  HyperTerminal works
well opposite ProTerm on the PC side.  Zmodem and CRC check
prevents the scrambled files that WILL result with a simple null
modem transfer.  If you are using null modem, it is an extremely
good idea to transfer with Zmodem and CRC.
