Good idea! Can the Smartport be reprogrammed to run the Commodore
drives? If serial is not sufficient, this is THE bidirectional parallel
interface
on the GS and the IIc & IIc+ (optional on the IIe).
It looks like if serial is not sufficient, the options are:
1) The SCSI port
2) The Smartport
3) The Game port
4) A whole new slot card
