Tool Locator. The actual fault as I listed in ROM code above occurs
in the middle of _TLShutdown, a tool call used by just about every
GS/OS app under the sun.

Hierarchic has never been proven to have any hand in any form of
Wolfy crashing after exiting (and that's NOT a gameplay bug). It
appears that I'm the only one left in the GS community willing to
spend many hours tracking down the oddball bugs left in the OS; just a
few lying jerks unfortunately willing to spend hours defending
untruthful positions in order to stroke their own egos.

My explanations have been posted enough times already, both here in
the huge discussions about Wolf3D and on Delphi's (http://delphi.com/ )
freely accessible A2 Programmer areas. For a short answer,
_TLShutdown dumps toolsets out of RAM if current TSPtr != default
TSPtr-- and leaves the default TSPtr pointing at unallocated ram.
And think before you patch; the initial impression is wrong.
