interesting that this came up... i JUST asked Nathan about a similar
product (one made by Cabletron). he assured me that the RamFAST SCSI
board was a bit particular about information "sneaking up on it"....

it was worth the thought, i guess. any chance we (as a group) might
be able to coax somebody into designing an ethernet card for general
availability at a decent price? (i'm not counting Apple on this,
since they apparently don't wanna play... <shrug>)
