Just because it is S-100 doesn't mean it's that old. The Altair is circa 1975,
it's not an altair so it's older.
S100 systems were being made up to 1984 as far as i can remember, 16bit
multiuser systems running unix clones and cpm.
You got to remember the S100 systems were as dime a dozen as clone makers are
now. You could buy a box and slots, then get a cpu board,
a power supply, drive controller, ram card, shugart cabinet, etc.

I would be interested in it. I haven't hacked a S100 system yet. Value? Not
much. Original Apple? Not at all,
hehe ,maybe if you had the mystical missing Altair # 01.
Tell me more about it. I would like to buy it if for sale, it could be
something to tinker on or might be scrap iron.
I remember they broke easy and a lot just flat out didn't work, e.g. IMSAI's
computers :-)
