It works on a IIgs and on a //e with unidisk card too. When I got mine I
didn't have a //c; I got it to use with my //e because there wasn't a slot
left for a SCSI card but the unidisk card had only one drive attached. One
really cool thing is that it's possible to connect the CT and two unidisks
to the card and use all three with ProDOS 8 2.0.

You're taking that idea to absurd lengths. Mitchell is right, buy another
CPU or logic board and scrap the shot one.

You'll be waiting a very long time I suspect. I bought my CT-20c in Dec
'89 when Quality Computers was selling 'em for $629. I got 'em to match
another mail order place's $560 price. I'm about as likely to let go of
it as I am my III plus, Lisa, LCD screen, superdrive card, or mint
condition Apple ][ in its original box.
