Using a Sony KV-1311-CR for ....something else?

Back in the old ages, when I actually had occasion to use my //gs, I
used it with a Sony KV-1311-CR.
Now, has anybody used the KV1311CR with (duh) a normal VGA/SVGA PC-style
input, or perhaps even
(lets get really oddball:) the RGB signals from an SGI or SUN
workstation?
