I've not played it on the Mac or PC, but my wife has.  She was looking
over my shoulder for a bit while I was playing it on the GS.  Her
comments were that it's faithful to the PC version, but the GS' sounds
are better :)

Yes, she does have a sound card in her machine, abeit a low-end one.
