If your talking about the basic standard system setup most
people bought (i.e. 1 MB CPU box, keyboard, mouse, RGB monitor
along with 3.5 and 5.25 floppy drives) then I would say about
US$50 at maximum. As for a heavily upgraded system, including
such items as additional memory, SCSI interface with hardrive,
accelerator card and other accessories--perhaps something in
the low 3 digit range, say US$100-$150.
I know many people here may disagree and feel such systems
are worth much more, but even at those prices, I feel as if I'm
over estimating their monitary worth. At least when you compare
the going prices for used 386, 486 and older Pentiums (not too
mention 68K Macs and PowerMacs) for the same cost or not much
more. I think the market on used Apple II's has almost bottomed
out these days--some remarketing vendors no longer want to even
accept them and there are people literally throwing them away
or dragging them down to recycling centers.
